Finally scanned some new pics that I have uncovered of my families custom 56 Chevy 150 - Miss Taboo. Here is the complete story I wrote awhile back:
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Below is a picture taken at the Portland Roadster Show in, I’m guessing, 1986-1987. This is when my grandpa first owned the car. Still got that show sign and one of those lights. the horrid display stands are gone and the angel hair as well. (stuff is nasty to mess with). Wish he had kept the cans near the rear tire.
This Pic was taken at the Salem Roadster Show I believe around 1987-1988. My grandpa still owned the car at this time as well.
This picture was given to me at a car show this last march. An elderly lady came up to me and said she had a picture of our car from the 60’s and asked if I wanted it, of course I said YES! This was picture was taken in the Pits at McMinnville Raceway. The car was drag raced to be able to qualify for Competition Custom classes in indoor shows.
These last three I don’t know if I ever posted here on Oppo. These are from the cars first of 2 wrecks. The car had just received the Chrysler headlights and I mean just got them. The owner, Ron, had just picked the car up and had gone about 2 blocks before a lady pulled out in front of him. I have been looking to see if anyone took pics of the car before it left the shop because this is the only time the car had the dual headlights, tube grille and stock front bumper, after this wrecked the 54 Chevy grille and 59 Impala bumper and roll pans were added.
